Our team is expanding!

We're excited to welcome two brand new roles to our Pets and Housing team supporting dog owners experiencing homelessness!

Our two new Pets and Housing Regional Engagement Coordinators will be responsible for working with homelessness services to support them in accepting dogs through our Welcoming Dogs endorsement scheme so that we can help to keep people and their pets together.

In 2020-2021 our existing Pets and Housing Development and Engagement Officer has supported 29 homelessness services in Scotland to become endorsed Welcoming Dogs services during the 12-month joint project with Simon Community Scotland.

Our two new roles will be building on this amazing progress to increase accommodation options for dog owners experiencing homelessness across the UK, with one role covering the south and east of England and Wales, and our other role covering the Midlands, north of England and Scotland.

If you're a homelessness service provider who would like to find out more about how we can support you, we'd love to chat to you and help to keep more people and their pets together.
