Our Together Through Homelessness vet scheme
Every dog deserves the care they need to stay healthy, whatever their situation. For people experiencing homelessness, the price of vet care can be a barrier to accessing essential vet treatments.
We work with partnered vet practices across the UK to provide free vet care for dog owners experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. From preventative care like flea and worming treatments, to urgent emergency support, we're here to help.
Alongside more than 140 vet practices, we provide an average of 160 vet treatments to 60 dogs per year.
How to become a partner vet practice
We wouldn’t be able to help the number of dogs that we do without the support of our amazing partner vet practices. If you’d like to help us care for even more dogs, get in touch and we’ll send you information about becoming a partner practice.
Once you’re registered as a partner practice, our vet scheme card holders will be able to book appointments with you. After each visit, just send us the invoice and a payment request form and we’ll pay you as quickly as possible.
Throughout the process, we’ll be available Monday to Friday (10am-4pm) to answer any questions you might have.
What our vet scheme covers
We cover all preventative vet care, such as flea and worming, microchipping, neutering and vaccinations. If a dog on our scheme needs other essential or emergency care, we can cover that too.
So that we can help as many dogs as possible, we cover most treatments up to a set limit. If a treatment is likely to cost more than the limit, it’s best to have a chat with us first and we might be able to approve it.
